The situation
Lottery-based admissions only work if the process is provably fair — every applicant entered once, every seat allocated on the same rules, every decision traceable after the fact. At district scale, that had been managed program by program, school by school, with no shared system of record.
As enrollment pressure grew, the gap between what stakeholders needed to trust and what the existing process could demonstrate got harder to close.
What we built
Bryco implemented its EquaLottery admissions platform as the district's system of record for lottery-based enrollment — built to be configured, not rebuilt, as each program's rules changed year to year.
